Crate mould manufacturing process and maintenance methods. May 19, 2018

Plastic turnover box is also called plastic case box. The plastic turnover box and plastic tray have the characteristics of corrosion resistance, good impact resistance, light quality, safety and health, long service life and so on. It can replace wooden cases, cartons and other transportation packaging containers, which are widely used in food and beverage industry. It is usually made in two ways. The production method and process of the plastic turnover box.

1. hot extrusion and cold pressing.

The main raw materials for making plastic turnover boxes are high density polyethylene, polypropylene, polyvinyl chloride and other plastic materials. The plastic turnover box is produced by hot extrusion and cold pressing method, with low investment, low energy consumption, simple structure and low technical requirements, but the production efficiency is low, the surface of the products is rough, and the mechanical property is poor, and the actual production is less used.

The technological process is as follows: resin proportioning - dyeing - melt extrusion - storage tank insulation - die casting - finishing.

2. injection molding.

In addition to hot extrusion and cold pressing, the plastic turnover box is most often produced by injection molding. The injection molding is also called injection molding or injection molding. The principle of injection molding is similar to the principle of injection needle and the operation method, so it is also called injection molding. Injection molding is suitable for molding various kinds of thermoplastics and some thermosetting plastics. The powder or granular plastic is sent from the hopper of the injection machine into the barrel to be heated to melt the plastic to reach the flow state and have good plasticity. Then the nozzle is injected into the cavity of the lower temperature through the plunger (or screw), and then the mold is opened after cooling and setting, and the plastic products can be obtained.

The process is as follows: feeding, heating, plasticizing, injecting - setting - demoulding.

The most commonly used injection molding machine is horizontal mobile screw type injection molding machine. Injection molding equipment has large investment, complicated mold structure and high processing cost, which is suitable for mass production.
